Jing and Peter eloped over a year ago and told me they didn’t have a photographer to document the day and wanted some portraits of them together after their first anniversary. They originally booked a mini session with me through Art for Humanity, an idea set up by photographer Alyssa Armstrong, along with Rhianna Mercier and Catrina Von Arx, to raise money for The International Rescue Committee to benefit refugees. After a few back and forth emails and finding the perfect location at a Pasadena park, they decided to expand their session, which gave us more time to explore and hike and for me to shoot some film. This park is so pretty and peaceful, the light at golden hour was amazing, and Jing and Peter were so relaxed and adorable.
