Kaitlyn and Owen got married in a courthouse ceremony and then a few days later had a beautiful, elegant back yard reception in Rancho Palos Verdes overlooking the ocean and Port of Long Beach. Southern California is known for good weather most of the year, but with a rainy forecast for the weekend, they rented a tent to keep their guests warm and dry. One of my favorite moments of this wedding was the couple getting ready together – that’s pretty unique and it created some peaceful time for just the two of them before all the guests arrived. The whole day was relaxed, sweet, and intimate, and was wonderful to be a part of!
Owen is a film photography enthusiast so many of the images below were shot on either 35mm or medium format film, which I love. Special thanks to my friend Lauren for coming along and shooting film as well.
