Last month I attended the Photo Coterie Left Coast workshop with amazing photographers Ryan Muirhead, Phil Chester, and Dylan & Sara. It was so great getting to know them and learning from them. On the last day, we took a hike in Eaton Canyon with lovely models Sarina and Daniel Cruz, who are a husband and wife wedding photography team themselves. I loved being with a great couple and shooting only film in natural scenery – covering everything from desert canyon to a small woodsy forest to a stream and waterfall. I’m planning to focus more and more on these types of outdoor engagements and elopements that capture a sense of the people and the place throughout California.
