Film Fridays – Seattle Pike Place Travel Photography

Wedding season is kicking into full gear so there will be many of those to show soon, but I’m trying to mix up some personal work, travel photography, and more film. All the things that make my heart tick in between photographing clients! So the first of recent trips was a day in Seattle at Pike Place Market, which even on a rainy day, was colorful, vibrant, and a lovely change of scenery. More adventures coming up soon!

You caught the market on a great day! Love seeing the tourist eye view of my home town. Thanks for sharing!

Thanks for the recommendations and dinner date! It was so great to meet you!

  • Nice to see wedding photographers doing personal projects, helps hone your skills. As I tell wedding couples "I'm not a wedding photographer, I'm a photographer who photographs weddings". You did a great job documenting the market.

Reminding me that I need to hit up the local hot spots more often, always cool to see Pike Place ;)

Isn't Seattle gorgeous? I went for the first time last month and it was prettier than I had imagined. These shots look like an ad for the pretty city :) Love the film.

  • Beautiful coverage of a beautiful place, greta work Jessica :)

  • Beautiful and vibrant! We have a similar place here in Toronto called the St. Lawrence Market. Too dark inside for Portra 400 though, unfortunately. Great job, Jessica!
