Going to friends’ weddings and celebrating with them is always fun for me, and Wendy and Will’s wedding was the first one I’d been to in over three years were I wasn’t the photographer and just a guest! But I knew I would still want to take a few pictures so I decided to just bring my smallest camera and 2 rolls of film, and that’s it. Wendy and Will have a beautiful home in Sherman Oaks with an amazing backyard that was the perfect place for their intimate ceremony and a cake and champagne mini-reception. The second part of the celebration was the most unique wedding reception I’ve been to – they hired a double decker sightseeing bus to drive all their guests through Hollywood to dinner. Los Angeles is not exactly known for the “kindness of strangers” so I was really surprised at how many waves, smiles, and cheers random bystanders on the street gave to the couple as drove by. It was heartwarming and added even more fun to an already awesome day!
