After meeting Kristen and Will for their San Dimas engagement photos, I was really looking forward to their wedding. Holy Name of Mary Church is such a gorgeous place to have a ceremony, and the reception was at the nearby University of LaVerne student center. Kristen and Will are involved in a lot of charity work, and they brought attention to this on their wedding day by both wearing TOMS shoes and encouraging all their guests to do the same as a way of helping others. Their friends and family came together to personalize their day in such meaningful ways – friends performed all the singing and music for the ceremony, Kristen and Will served communion to their Catholic guests, Will’s mom made the wedding cake and Kristen’s mom made the cake pop toppers, Kristen made her own bouquet, and everyone helped with the flower arrangements for their reception decor. They really embraced the DIT (do-it-together) philosophy in crafting their wedding day, and it paid off beautifully.
