A few weeks ago I went out to the desert at Joshua Tree National Park. I went with photographer pals Xanthe and William and the plan was to shoot portraits and landscapes with the gorgeous rocks at sunset. But traffic in Los Angeles being what it is, the drive took awhile and we got there with only about 20 minutes to spare before the sun went down. Though I have several medium format toy cameras, this was my first time shooting on a Hasselblad. The low lighting was definitely a bit of a challenge, but it was so beautiful there, I love how they came out.
