I love how shooting a quick succession of photos of the same moment can really show the context and tell a story of what happened before and after a single frame. When you look at the series all together, it can almost have a flip-book effect. And seeing that effect when looking through the bouquet toss photos from Nikki and Johann’s reception made me smile. All the single ladies were lined up to try to catch the bouquet, but Nikki must have a pretty good arm because she overshot all the women and the bouquet landed in front of the guys standing in the back, one of whom politely accepted the honor. It was one of my favorite moments of the reception and I’m really glad I got to capture it.
