It’s been a very rainy in LA lately, probably the rainiest season since I moved here almost seven years ago. I know it’s good for Southern California and will be very thankful for it when summer comes and wildfires are more likely. But after all the rainy traffic I’ve been through in the past few weeks, part of me is longing for bright blue skies and warm weather.
I took this photo at Watts Towers last summer when my mom was visiting. I remember reading about Watts Towers in Don DeLillo’s Underworld when I first moved out to Los Angeles, and being fascinated with the history of the place. It took me a long time to finally get out and see it, but I’m so glad I did.
This photo was taken on my Diana F+ with Lomography brand color film, 100 ISO.
